One billionaire fund manager is SELLING Tesla Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA) stock . . .
Despite saying that shares could top $2,000!
Why? Because he expects bigger profits from a new electric vehicle startup backed by Amazon.
Go here to discover urgent details on the #1 Pre-IPO (trading starts Mar. 12).
Billionaire fund investor Ron Baron sold 1.8 million shares of Tesla during the last six months.
With the stock now trading at over $650 – it’s up 1,448%! That’s becauseBaron paid just $42 per share for his Tesla stake.
Baron’s funds continue to own 6.1 million shares of Tesla. And he personally owns 1.1 million shares valued at over $715 million.
Baron says he’ll hold onto his shares for another decade. On CNBC, he explained that Tesla stock could triple to more than $2,000 per share.
Yet the billionaire is also jumping into “the next Tesla Motors” – placing bets on NEW EV startups.
Baron is joining Amazon with a huge investment in electric vehicle startup Rivian (private).
Rivian is developing EV pickup trucks, SUVs and delivery vehicles. The first EV pickup truck from the electric vehicle startup will be available in June. An electric SUV is coming out in August.
Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) has already agreed to purchase 100,000 of these EV delivery trucks from Rivian.
The company’s total financing now stands at $8 billion. Including $700 million from Amazon and an undisclosed investment from Baron Capital Group.
Plus, Baron just invested $10 million to buy 1.2 million shares of a new electric vehicle startup called Cruise (private).
The EV boom is underway. And this huge Pre-IPO financing is the latest sign . . .
Typically, these types of deals are ONLY available to Wall Street banks and Silicon Valley VCs. However, I’ve discovered a little-known secret that lets ANYONE access top Pre-IPOs.
It’s something that I call the Billionaire’s Pre-IPO Secret.
One of my favorite EV stocks is a company making lidar sensors for self-driving car. The company was founded by former Apple engineers who worked on the secret Apple Car project.
Frankly, this new EV technology could be inside new cars from Porsche, Volkswagen and Audi. Plus, connections with Apple could help get this into the new Apple iCar.
Shares start trading on March 12.

P.S. A similar lidar stock recently launched its IPO. And shares jumped as much as 378% after it started trading. Will this one be next?
