It’s not just Trump. Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill are introducing bills to assure America’s leadership with 5G technology.
A new bill was introduced yesterday by a bipartisan group of Senators. And it would spend $1 billion to fund research and development of new 5G technologies.
That’s $1 billion for these American 5G stocks.
Democrat Senator Mark Warner explained, “Every month that the U.S. does nothing, Huawei stands poised to become the cheapest, fastest, most ubiquitous global provider of 5G, while U.S. and Western companies and workers lose out on market share and jobs.”
Meanwhile, Republican Senator Marco Rubio was also a co-sponsor of the bill on 5G technology. He commented, “We cannot allow Chinese state-directed telecommunications companies to surpass American competitors.”
