It’s the latest signal that wireless companies including AT&T (NYSE: T), T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) and Verizon (NYSE: VZ) are rushing to secure 5G spectrum.
5G spectrum is required to allow these carriers to roll out fifth-generation wireless nationwide.
American Wireless Companies Spend Billions in 2020
2020 is the year that fifth-generation wireless becomes a reality.
In addition to buying spectrum licenses, wireless companies need to actually build out a physical network across the country.
Just take a look at the infrastructure spending on the 5G network planned for this year:
- T-Mobile: $6 billion
- Verizon: $18 billion
- AT&T: $20 billion
That’s $44 billion in total 5G network spending – this year!
Why are they spending so much?
Because it’s a race to deliver the fastest and most comprehensive 5G network.
In fact, AT&T promises to have 5G available to 200 million Americans in 2020. Verizon is right behind and quickly rolling out nationwide. And the merger between Sprint and T-Mobile aims to give them fierce competition.
That rapid expansion could send one tiny $5 stock surging 286%.
Why?
Because this 5G device could soon be inside EVERY home in America.
Today, most folks don’t realize that they’ll even need 5G.
Yet the same thing happened with 3G and 4G. Until the new technology arrived – most Americans said they would NOT upgrade.
The same thing is happening with 5G.
Once it’s LIVE you’ll quickly realize that the 5G network and 10x – 100x faster wireless is a gamechanger.
You won’t hesitate to upgrade your smartphone. And you’ll 100% want one of these 5G devices to multiply the speed of your Internet connection at home.
It’s still the early innings for 5G. And investors who jump in right now stand to earn triple-digit profits in 2020.
