Income Cycle Step 2: Triple Your Income

This week I’m hosting a live event dedicated to a strategy I use in my personal investment account. It’s called the Income Cycle Retirement Plan: 11% Profits in Just 30 Days.459502419
In fact, it’s so effective that I rarely invest in stocks without using the income cycle. As we move into 2017, I believe the income cycle is the very best strategy to earn regular income with less volatility.
Earlier this week, I posted the first step of how to use the income cycle. Today, I’m sharing details on the second step.
To cap things off, tomorrow I’m hosting LIVE training event. I recommend clicking here to attend my free live event.
Once you find yourself in possession of a great stock, there’s a world of opportunity at your fingertips. The second part of the income strategy assumes you own at least 100 shares of stock – and that you’re happy to own it for the long term.
Unless you’re incredibly unlucky, you probably own some world-class dividend paying stocks that you’ll likely never sell.

Second Step in Income Cycle

But there’s a time and a place to sell everything. Today, I’d like to tell you about a way to “sell” a stock you own (almost every month) to bring in extra income.
Several months ago, I revealed a unique technique to safely generate regular 8% to 12% income streams from retirement savings.
In a yield-starved environment, this strategy has been a blessing.
The strategy is called “selling covered calls.” If you aren’t using this strategy … well, you’re missing out on THE most revolutionary income strategy in the investment arena.
Over the past year alone, this income secret could have tripled or quadrupled your dividend payouts on some of the best stocks in the market.
And remember the returns are locked in . . . they can never be taken away. The proceeds from selling calls can be used as a source of income or to simply lower the cost basis of an asset.
For instance, if Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) were to decline we have already built in a 26% cushion or hedge from selling calls. Or for those of you who seek income, we have managed to add an additional 26% in income from a stock many of you already own in your portfolio.
Here are just a few examples of our returns (dividends not included in the returns):

Selling Covered Calls for Monthly Income

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT)….16 months….26.0%…10.8x the dividend of 2.4%

Intel (NASDAQ: INTC)….16 months….18.9%….7.3x the dividend of 2.6%

Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC)…15 months….18.3%….6.7x the dividend of 2.7%

The good news is you can still use this investment today. It’s not the type of opportunity that you can miss out on – because it’s based on the quality stocks you probably already own.
Today, I want to show you just how powerfully this strategy works.
I can’t emphasize this point enough: when it comes to selling covered calls I only use stocks that are well-respected, shareholder-friendly and with a history of paying consistently rising dividends.
Let’s use one of the most popular dividend stocks in the market … Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).
Intel is a well-respected, shareholder-friendly company that dominates its industry. The company has reliable cash flows and pays consistently rising dividends. It’s one of the steadiest stocks in the market and that is exactly what we are searching for when employing a covered-call strategy.
It is imperative that we use the world’s safest and most reliable blue-chip stocks.
Right now you can collect an extra 2% in income every quarter in addition to the regular dividend payout (which right now is above 3%) – just by being a regular shareholder.
Added up, that comes to an additional 8% in income for the year for a total yield of more than 11% – nearly tripling your dividend payout.

Let me briefly show you a few numbers, so you can plainly see how useful covered calls are for safe, steady income.
Let’s say you own 100 shares of Intel, which is currently trading for $34.61.
ANDY.INTEL.1.2016-11-16_2148
You can sell a call option that gives the buyer the right to buy your shares for $36 at any time over the next 67 days.
ANDY.INTEL.2.2016-11-16_2149For this privilege, you collect $0.68 per share, or $68, for selling that right. This $0.68 payment represents an instant 2% yield on your investment.
If Intel rallies above $36, you would be obligated to sell (for a 4% gain) your shares for $36, but you keep the $0.68 you got for selling the call. The $68 in income that you brought in at the onset is yours to keep. You never have to give it back.
Now if Intel isn’t trading above $36 by the time the option expires in January, you can do the same or similar trade all over again.
And just think …you can do this 2% transaction six times in one year for an extra 12% while collecting Intel’s safe 3% regular dividend. That’s quadruple the dividend for using this simple and reliable strategy.
On a roughly $7,000 stake, that would generate more than $800 each year.
That’s well above the yield for a typical blue-chip dividend stock. More importantly, it’s the type of income yield that you can actually depend on and use in this low-yield world.
Of course, this strategy takes a little bit more work than what you might be used to. But as many you’ve discovered, it’s simple to learn . . . and simple to use once you get the hang of it.
If you have any questions about how to use this strategy for yourself with stocks you already own, I suggest attending my free webinar.
It starts tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT. Click here now and I’ll make sure to save you a spot.
