Vice President JD Vance announced…
He and his wife will visit Greenland today.
National security adviser Mike Waltz will join them.
They’ll be spending their time at Pituffik Space Base.
As the vice president’s office said in an announcement…
“The strategic partnership between the United States and Greenland has long played a vital role in our national and economic security.
During World War II, the United States established over a dozen military bases in Greenland to defend the North Atlantic from Nazi incursion.
During the Cold War, the United States committed additional resources to Greenland to defend against Soviet missile attacks.
In the decades since, neglect and inaction from Danish leaders and past U.S. administrations have presented our adversaries with the opportunity to advance their own priorities in Greenland and the Arctic.
President Trump is rightly changing course.”
Trump and JD Vance say Greenland is critical for national security.
But what most people don’t know is that the Arctic region could become the next frontier in the new Space Race 2.0.
Here’s why.
The Pituffik Space Base that the Vice President is visiting is a key piece of U.S. space operations and missile defense.
Originally built during the Cold War…
Its strategic importance has only grown.
Space dominance is becoming increasingly important for global influence.
That’s why the U.S. Department of Defense is doubling down on the Arctic.
During a November visit to Pituffik…
The senior leader of the U.S. Space Force reinforced the need to secure America’s position. In his own words…
“The Department of Defense has unveiled a new Arctic strategy, underscoring the region’s critical importance to our national security and that of our allies.
Maintaining a strong presence and projecting power from the Arctic is paramount; we must fortify it, ensuring that we capitalize on our unique position at the top of the world to safeguard our interests and those of our allies.”
Here’s the big takeaway.
The Arctic is the next frontier of military power and space defense.
Trump knows it.
What he will do next regarding Greenland is still uncertain.
But one thing is crystal clear…
Trump is giving more and more importance to the space sector.
During his inauguration speech…
He vowed to send astronauts to Mars… launch the Space Race 2.0… and expand our dominance beyond Earth’s orbit.
This is very bullish for space stocks in 2025.
That’s why I’m personally buying shares of “the next SpaceX” – BEFORE it goes public.
