The Biden administration announced…
It will “begin notifying more than 804,000 borrowers that they have a total of $39 billion in Federal student loans that will be automatically discharged in the coming weeks.”
Meanwhile, Biden’s fiscal-year 2024 budget FAILS to address the Social Security (SS) trust-fund crisis. The fund could be depleted by 2032.
This could lead to SS payments being CUT by 25%.
This past Friday…
U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said:
“For far too long, borrowers fell through the cracks of a broken system that failed to keep accurate track of their progress towards forgiveness.”
Today, the Biden-Harris Administration is taking the historic, anti-democratic step by announcing $39 billion in debt relief for 804,000 borrowers.
This is a slap in the face to taxpayers and the responsible borrowers who paid-off their loans.
Biden and Harris want to use your tax dollars — your money — to forgive someone else’s obligation.
It’s immoral, to say the least. It’s a cheap trick to buy votes with your money.
Meanwhile, the Social Security trust fund shrinks by the day – and Joe Biden’s fiscal-year 2024 budget fails to address the crisis.
What about the taxpayers who were forced to pay into the fund?
To, heck with them, I suppose. It’s beyond me.
Good Fortunes,
