Most of the $16 billion is for Nvidia’s H20 chips.
These chips are the most advanced processors Nvidia can still legally send to China.
And they’re VITAL for building powerful AI data centers and training next-gen AI models.
China is going “all in” on the AI race.
And they want the horsepower to compete with the West.
Trump announced sweeping tariffs yesterday.
They will hit everything from EVs to batteries and rare earth minerals.
But semiconductors were spared.
