Toyota’s New Hail Mary to Catch Up with Tesla

Their new mid-size and compact all-electric people carriers.

It’s their latest effort to catch up in the EV race and with Tesla.

Toyota dragged their feet on EVs…

And they’re paying a very big price because of it.

They’re being squeezed out of China (the world’s largest auto market)…

Their global sales just fell over 5%…

And so now they finally hit the accelerator on their EV efforts.

Their latest one is launching the new all-electric Proace Verso and smaller Proace City Verso MPVs in the UK.

“Power to the people carriers,” Toyota boasted after launching it last week.

But in my view, they have nothing to boast yet with their EVs.

They’re massively behind in the EV race.

Meanwhile, Tesla is taking a GIANT leap forward with its Robo AI Project.
