Tesla Gigafactory Texas is the biggest battery factory…
It’s 3x larger than the U.S. Pentagon. And with 10 million square feet – it’s the 2nd largest building in the world.
There’s a global mad rush to ramp up battery production by 2,400%.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has a plan to corner the market. It’s called the Secret Master Plan 3.0.
Tesla’s new Gigafactory is known simply as “Giga Texas.”
The facility started rolling out EVs in April 2022. Tesla is ramping up production of next generation EV batteries at the facility, in addition to building EVs.
The company expects to produce 5,000 of the Model Y per week by the end of the year. And Elon Musk says Tesla will hit 10,000 EVs per week by 2023.
This suggests a +500,000 EV production run rate by the end of next year. That would equal more than 50% of last year’s total vehicle production Plus, Tesla expects a similar ramp up for its facility in Berlin Germany.
This means that Giga Texas and Giga Berlin could produce more than 1 million EVs annually – within just two years.
The biggest risk for Tesla is its ability to produce enough EV batteries. That’s why Tesla is building its own battery factories – rather than depending upon auto-industry suppliers.
It’s not just Tesla…
The Department of Energy reports that there are 13 battery Gigafactories under construction in the U.S. You can see the list right here…
Who Will WIN the Battery Wars?
You probably recognize many of the names here…
Ford (NYSE: F), General Motors (NYSE: GM), Toyota (NYSE: TM) and Volkswagen (OTC: VWAGY) are all on the list. Other companies like LG Energy and SK Innovation are less well-known.
The Department of Energy is lending its support too.
The DOE is providing $3.1 billion in funding for battery manufacturing and recycling initiatives. The goal is to encourage American companies to invest in battery production in the U.S.
Right now, automakers are extremely dependent on China for access to EV batteries. That’s a risk that the Biden White House – and every automaker – would prefer to avoid.
In the next few years we’ll see a wave of battery Gigafactories built in America.
It’s the start of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Most folks today are focused on soaring oil and gas that costs $4 per gallon. However, the future isn’t fossil fuels like oil.
Instead, the future is all about harnessing the power of cheaper electricity with next generation batteries.
Elon Musk and Tesla are at the forefront of this industrial transformation.
In the coming days Elon Musk will reveal his Secret Master Plan 3.0.
It’ll reveal exactly HOW Tesla plans to secure its dominance of the EV market for the next decade.
Five American stocks could double or triple – as soon as Elon releases this Master Plan. And that’s why it’s critical that you act now.
