Apple typically previews its new iPhones at a big iPhone launch event in September. And the newer phones are then available in late September.
These delays mean the new iPhones will hit the market in October.
Apple is planning three sizes for its new phones: 4.5 inches, 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches.
Several of the new phones will be setup for fifth-generation wireless – known simply as 5G.
Wall Street analysts have high hopes for the new iPhones. Some think that new 5G technology could spark a wave of iPhone upgrades. And estimates called for over 200 million iPhones to be sold this year.
